Get to know these charities that are making a difference:

Foundation for Learning, Athletics and Growth (FLAG) was founded by West Harbor Capital Managing Partner Adam Deierling and his childhood friend, Christian Sorenson. FLAG enriches the lives of local youth and military families through education, athletics, and community involvement, FLAG provides mentorship, scholarship, and partnership to those in need within our local communities.

Sharefest, provides funding and mentorship for youth who continue to college with the goal to empower under-served youth to transform their future and become leaders of collaborative community change. West Harbor Capital’s Eric Ruehle chairs the board of directors at Sharefest.

Nicks Kids began in 2016 with four children kicking the soccer ball around in the Watts, CA neighborhood of Nickerson Gardens, under the assurance of an LAPD officer. Now they encourage young people to look beyond their status and strive for a better future. Nicks Kids is directly supported by FLAG as a beneficiary of the foundation.

Ruck For Veterans is dedicated to organizing events that educate, remember, and appreciate veterans, bringing greater awareness to the cause and helping those in need. Supporting veterans and their families, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good of this country, is the fabric and mission of the foundation.
